WordPress reached 1,000,000 downloads in July 2010. That’s a lot of web developers trusting the platform, and Brown Mouse Productions is one of them. We love the thousands of plug-ins that are available, making it easy to customize your site in a short time frame.
The SpiritWorks web site uses several plugins in a versatile template that adjusts to one, two, or three columns. The template allows creation of both web pages and blog posts. Notice the engaging slide show, featured content, and featured videos.
A glossary plug-in finds terms in any page or post and links them to definitions on the glossary page. Very slick! The calendar plugin allows the client to easily post one-time events and recurring events, with links for more information.
Phase 2 of this site’s development will include e-commerce, using (you guessed it!) a WordPress plug-in.
